The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) under the auspices of the Ministry of Education says it has revised this year’s academic calendar and rescheduled the SHS 3 students reopening to May 5, 2021.
The postponement of the SHS 3 students reopening date according to GES in a social media post sighted by Educationweb.com.gh follows the proposal from The Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS).
According to the Education Service, the postponement of the reopening date applies to all final year students in single track and double track schools.
The Service says it in due course will officially communicate more details on the changes to members of the general public and students in due course
“All other arrangements on the academic calendar including the proposed date for the Form 3 students to sit for the WASSCE for School remain unchanged,” the Ghana Education Service (GES) stated in the post.
