The Management of the National Teaching Council says candidates who are served with a notice indicating they are unconfirmed “You are unconfirmed” have to correctly upload their information onto the NTC portal.

A Staff of NTC, when reached out by, said: “the awarding institution (UCC/UEW) has to upload your information unto the NTC portal to confirm that you are indeed a graduate of that school”.

According to the Teaching Council, candidates or applicants facing that challenges are to visit their awarding institution to rectify this issue and have their information uploaded on the NTC portal as soon as possible.

The Education Ministry has said candidates whose details have not been submitted to the National Teaching Council (NTC) will not be allowed to sit for the 2021 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE).
