Kennedy Agyapong leads massive endorsement campaign for Ibrahim Mahama’s Dzata Cement | Ghanaians led by Assin Central Member of Parliament(MP) Kennedy Agyapong appear to have unanimously endorsed Dzata cement produced by businessman Ibrahim Mahama which has taken the country by storm.
Dzata Cement who is produced by a wholly-owned Ghanaian company has received thumbs up from the citizenry after two officials of the current government, Yaw Osafo-Maafo and Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen respectively paid working visits to the factory at Tema and said good things about the product.
Members of both political divides have since been full of praise for the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Engineers and Planners for the idea of establishing the factory in Ghana, who could not hide their joy in posting images of the cement.
The first to have endorsed the product was Assin Central Lawmaker Kennedy Agyapong in an earlier interview indicating that it would bring the monopoly by foreign companies in the cement business t an end.
“Let us praise Ibrahim Mahama. If you look at all the cement factories in Ghana, none is owned by a Ghanaian. Ibrahim Mahama has been able to produce Dzata Cement as Ghanaian. I am going to instruct my construction companies…they should all go and buy Dzata cement because he is a Ghanaian. Let us put politics aside…let us also encourage, motivate Ghanaian businessmen who have big dreams. He has been able to produce Dzata Cement whether he is NDC, NPP or whatever he is a Ghanaian”, he disclosed.
