We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the project Program Utilities, Power and Infrastructure (UPI) Manager to develop a clear and concise set of Electrical engineering standards which meet company National and International standards.
  • Prepare or update specifications, procedures, material requisitions, and electrical construction documents.
  • Work closely with the Project Electrical Engineers to ensure that all Electrical Engineering issues are properly resolved in a timely manner, that design changes are managed correctly, and that the facilities comply with all project and statutory requirements and Stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop electrical designs for various voltage systems, including LV and MV systems.
  • Support design and drafting team members in the development of all power system drawing deliverables related to the construction and modification of production, handling, processing, metering, and shipping (oil, gas, water, and steam) facilities.
  • Supports project team in development of design documentation, plans and reports for relevant project design elements.
  • Assists in the development of a design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
  • Assists in the evaluation and selection of electrical systems and materials.
  • Attends project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants.
  • Participates in value engineering and basic cost estimating.
  • Performs calculations to analyze and design electrical system components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
  • Support the QA Manager in resolving Electrical Engineering non-conformances, concession requests, etc.
  • Support the EPC Contractor and vendors to develop fit-for-purpose ITPs for equipment, packages and bulk material supply, auditing vendor compliance as required.
  • Ensure the facilities are designed, built and commissioned in compliance with all relevant statutory and project’s regulations.
  • Provide Electrical Engineering input into the preparation, review and approval of Procurement procedures, the Project Supplier List, contractor/vendor pre-qualification, Purchase Requisitions, Invitations to Tender, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum HND or Degree qualified and chartered or equivalent in an appropriate engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years ‘experience in Engineering role in Oil and gas, Refinery, Construction, Petrochemical, Chemical/Process Plant and Fertilizer Plant will have an edge.
  • Seasoned and experienced Engineer.
  • Sound knowledge of Electrical Safety legislation.
  • Major project experience with strong design engineering/procurement background and a broad understanding of multiple disciplines and their interfaces;
  • Experience of supervising work in a Contractor’s Design Office.
  • Experience of field engineering and/or construction on a major Construction Site.
  • Thorough understanding of electrical systems, means and methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Understanding of all phases of project document production and the relationship between electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to check the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manage time to meet project budget and schedule.
  • Ability to provide technical support in Overhead Power Lines (OHPL) calculation.
  • Developing Electrical Equipment Data Sheet, electrical equipment specification and requisition for quotation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Presentation skills a plus.
  • Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite. Microstation and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge and application of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.

Job Title: Executive Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor all correspondence coming into the Manager’s office (including email) to prioritize, redirect and follow-up as needed.
  • Oversee the Manager’s schedule using mature sound judgement and discretion in order to assess priorities and resolve conflicts.
  • Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with senior EAs and provide cross-coverage as required.
  • Set up meetings (international, internal and external conference calls, room bookings, technical set-up, catering) and engage Digital and Information Technology (IT) support as necessary.
  • Build agendas and attend leadership meetings, recording and distributing meeting actions logs.
  • Coordinate international and domestic travel; compile and submit expense reports.

  • Investigate and maintain records of all incoming requests for approval.
  • Review status of relevant expenditures and compare with approved budget.

REQUIREMENTS

  • An office administration diploma/degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work-related experience.
  • Three or more years of administrative assistant experience, managing an executives schedule, large amounts of confidential information and multiple priorities.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Teams/Skype, Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Creativity and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Job Title: Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with General Manager as part of the management team to ensure the corporation is focused on budgeted numbers and be a key partner in delivering business objectives, including but not limited to variances of revenue, OPEX, direct margin or investment/contract to provide an accurate financial position with identification of risk and opportunity.
  • Robustly review the monthly P&L, working capital and balance sheet and actively participate in reviews with CFO and Controller.
  • Ensure tight cost control and management of all costs in the P&L.
  • Coordinate and review monthly management financial reporting package, KPIs, and take appropriate action to drive improvement.
  • Oversee and resolve any issues or concerns to the local general ledger and related accounting practices, including payables, receivables, inventories, fixed assets, payrolls and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare and assist with appropriate commentary or explanations relating to report items of particular interest and conduct any pertinent investigation of the accounts.
  • Work with department heads/managers to manage sites annual budget including revenue/direct margin, EBITDA or CAPEX level.
  • Drive a focus on optimizing cash flow throughout the corporate financial team.
  • Work with operational team to ensure KPIs for efficiency and utilisation are kept up date, understood and used appropriately to drive corporate financial improvement.
  • Coordinate forecast and planning schedules for finance and operational teams, communicate requirements to organisation on a timely basis and drive delivery schedule.
  • Participate in the Commercial discussions for the business by reviewing, monitoring and advising the Sales & Legal teams of the commercial risks and costing/pricing levels during bidding and execution stages.
  • Drive continuous improvement of accounting systems and internal control, including documentation of local process.
  • Assist the statutory audits and liaise with the auditor as needed.
  • Manage cash requirements, liaising with Group Treasury to minimise on hand cash and maximise investment returns.
  • Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable.
  • Provide effective leadership in controllership in accordance with the companies values, goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance of the organizations practices with applicable legislation and tax authorities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in accounting, finance or similar. Master’s degree/CPA is a plus.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, FCA, CA, CIMA or ACCA) preferred but not essential.
  • Minimum Experience Range: 3-5 years accounting related work experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of global financial reporting requirements and reporting packages.
  • Ability to apply accepted accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, organisational and time management skills.
  • Previous experience within the reputable organization, manufacturing, accounting firm, oil, gas and/or petrochemical industries.
  • Excellent oral and written communicator with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally.
  • Effective team building, motivation and leadership skills.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work with contracts, terms & conditions ensuring legal/intellectual property is adhered to.
  • Be able to work independently and take ownership for assigned work
  • Able to effectively manage consultants and channels.
  • Experience of optimizing computerized accounting and reporting systems (preferably but not necessarily Microsoft Navision).
