“WAEC Releases Private BECE Results 2020”

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the provisional results of private candidates who took the 2020 edition of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

The West African Examinations Council wishes to inform its numerous publics that it has released provisional results of candidates who took the 2020 edition of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for Private Candidates. The Council has hosted the results online and candidates may access their results at the Council’s website at eresults.waecgh.org.

A total of 2,240 candidates made up of 1,258 males and 982 females entered for the examination which was written at 11 centres throughout the country. Out of the total number of candidates that registered, 2,110 sat for the examination, while 130 candidates were absent.

EXAMINATION MALPRACTICES

Five (5) subject results have been withheld, pending the conclusion of investigations into alleged examination malpractices. The withheld results will be released as soon as the Council concludes its investigations.
